    Job Description
    The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Visitor Services Representative. This person is preferably well versed in the Paso business community and wine industry, though willing to train the right candidate. Must be computer literate, have great customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. This is a part-time position, 16-20 hours per week, and must be available for a minimum of a 4 hour shift on Sundays. Position available immediately.     POSITION: Visitor Services Representative
    REPORTS TO: Operations & Visitor Services Manager
    STATUS: Part-Time/Hourly 

    GENERAL FUNCTION: The Visitor Services Representative reports to the Operations & Visitor Services Manager and is responsible for day-to-day activities in the Visitor Center; including but not limited to assisting guests in fulfilling their informational needs regarding Paso Robles area activities and accommodations. The Visitor Services Representative may be required to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: 
    1. Provide excellent customer service to guests and Chamber staff
    2. Provide reception duties for the Chamber of Commerce
    3. Assist in coordinating the development of visitor itineraries based on visitor questionnaire
    4. Assist in the collection of data and creation of a Master Calendar of Events
    5. Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of brochures and other materials necessary for the efficient operation of the Visitor Center 
    6. Assist in capturing statistical detail and perform data entry for use in required reporting 
    7. Fulfill distribution requests for visitor information of individuals and groups 
    8. Participate in community events and festivals as needed
    9. Assist in execution of various Visitor Services & Chamber programs and displays in the Visitor Center
    10. Maintain the facility both inside and outside in a neat and orderly appearance
    11. Assist in maintaining supply inventory levels for retail 
    12. Provide assistance at Chamber events as needed 

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
    1. Must have knowledge of Paso Robles and surrounding area attractions, events and businesses. 
    2. Experience in a customer service environment.
    3. Working knowledge of basic cash management procedures. 
    4. Must have basic computer experience and knowledge in Outlook, Word & Excel. 
    5. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 
    6. Ability to effectively resolve customer problems and requests. 
    7. Ability to complete work assignments in the allotted timeframe. 
    8. Possess general knowledge of business practices, operations and needs. 
    9. Professional appearance 

    RELATIONSHIPS: Maintains appropriate relationships with other associations and vendors to enhance the image of the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce and the attainment of its objectives.
