Festival Mozaic CHAMBER Series: The Viennese Connection
Vienna was the birthplace of classical music and training ground for each of the composers in this program. Beethoven hails from the "First Viennese School", whose membership also boasts Mozart and Haydn. And while Korngold's legacy is primarily as a film composer, his Sextet is considered to be the greatest since the sextets of Brahms. ?
