Rotary Club of Paso Robles and El Camino Homeless Shelter have paired up for the Drop Your Drawers initiative. The goal? To collect as many store bought, packaged pairs of undergarments they can get!
As one of their many service projects that benefit the community, Rotary Club of Paso Robles partnered with other local Rotary chapters as well as The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce to fulfill a need that ECHO has prioritized.

"Hey everyone…it’s time to Drop Your Drawers. One of our Community Service projects to assist the new ECHO Homeless Shelter at the Motel 6 in Paso Robles. When they gave us a priority list of needs, their number one request was for underwear. Please help us help them.
ECHO needs all sizes of underwear for men and women. If you can’t get out to purchase underwear or drop them off and want to order them on line, have them sent to Rick’s office at 1947 Spring Street, Paso Robles.
Hopefully many of you can contribute. Don’t get caught with your pants down!"
As you can see below, our generous community stepped up and dropped off well over 30 packages of unopened items in only a few days. We’re hoping to achieve the same results consistently over the next 2 weeks as we strive to help the less fortunate in our community.
ECHO’s new location at the Motel 6 in Paso Robles began providing shelter on December 10, 2020, 8 days after escrow closed on the property.
